COVID-19 - Business update for Cargo Clothing 15/06/20


Cargo Clothing are pleased to confirm that we are currently operational behind the scenes, dispatching customer orders which are online and/or bought in store.  We are contactable Monday – Saturday 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on 07971589565 or via email/messenger etc.

OPENING 15th JUNE 2020

It is our intention to reopen to our customers, by appointment only, from the 15th June 2020 (subject to government guidelines)

We have implemented strict and precautionary guidelines across our store to ensure all staff and customers feel safe to come in.

Due to the close contact of helping our customers in and out of dresses we are sorry, but we will not be able to do this until it is deemed safe to do so.  You will have to manage with zips if you are on your own or ask a family member to help…unless you have Mr Tickle arms you will be fine! Ha, ha.

If you did want to visit us to try on dresses, or collect, we kindly ask that you book in advance either by phone/email/Facebook/Instagram messenger etc.  We will not be able to have more than 2 people in at any one time and we can only help girls with dresses if they are accompanied by an adult.  Please do not turn up in the hope we can see you as we might not be there due to working restricted hours.

If you have a dress on deposit or paid in full and need to collect

We have consciously not called customers with regards payments as we know this has been a very trying time for everyone.  We do know that Proms have been cancelled for their original dates, but we have heard that most of the schools in Cornwall (if not all) are rescheduling so we are, of course, overjoyed to hear this.  We have decided, therefore, to extend our deposit hold time until the 1st July 2020.  We do ask that all dresses currently on hold be paid for, in full, by the 1st July.

Once dresses are paid for, we can offer the following services: -

1.      We can offer a FREE delivery service which is fully tracked and insured via courier service.  If you would like to choose this option, please call us on 07971589565

We strongly recommend this option as this of course keeps everyone safe

2.      Alternatively, we are offering a collection service which will be by appointment only as from the 15th June 2020.

Dresses that are on order for customers:

If you have ordered a dress from us and not heard please note…… some dresses have arrived and some dresses are due in very soon, the reason for these delays are simply due to suppliers closing.  We are now being contacted by our suppliers and their working weeks are no longer restricted and they can resume some deliveries to us.  Please be assured all dresses that were ordered have been made and are due with us very soon and we will contact you as soon as they arrive to our store.

 If anyone has any questions with regards coming in to try on or to collect, please just call or email us.

 We can not wait to get back to normal and see all those lovely girls and mums again and to help those brides to be, bridesmaids and mothers of the bride.
