Delivery & Returns

Deliveries in the UK are normally sent using Royal Mail; options listed below. Please note during prom season January to May, deliveries can take a little longer due to the increase in orders and enquiries.  If a delivery is urgent please email or call us and we will see what we can do.

Tracked 48:  £4.95, 2-3 day delivery estimate with online tracking at www.royalmail.com/trackandtrace.

Tracked 24:  £6.95, next working day delivery estimate with online tracking at www.royalmail.com/trackandtraceTracking details and updates will be sent to you via a text message and email.

International Delivery

We will post to Europe using Royal Mail for a standard charge from £16 or you can ask for a courier delivery. All other international deliveries range from £22. All local duties and taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer on any international delivery. Please track your international deliveries as it is the customers responsibility to check as we do not track.  Once you choose a postal service this is in your name and we are unable to chase so it is your sole responsibility to check and chase.  If you leave this more than 28 days we are unable to help as this is outside of the timeline to query with any delivery agent. All postage charges are non-refundable.

Oh, and a quick tip – please don't refuse a parcel. There's a non-returnable charge of 40 euros plus shipping or the equivalent due to processing times and extra costs for us as a business. Thanks for your understanding!

Returns Policy for Online Purchases in the UK:

Hey, just a quick heads-up about our return policy for our online shoppers, we've got a specific process in place.

If you're looking to return something, shoot us a request for a returns authorisation code within 14 days of receiving your goodies. You can reach out by giving us a call, sending an email, or simply clicking on the returns link at the top of our website and entering your email address.  Contact after 14 days of receipt will mean we can not accept a return.

Once you've got that code, aim to send the goods back to us within 14 calendar days. It's super helpful if you can use the original packaging and keep all those labels intact. Just a heads-up, removing labels will make it tricky for us to accept the return so be careful.

Feel free to choose your preferred courier for the return journey. We suggest using a recorded or signed-for service and holding onto that proof of purchase. Unfortunately, we can't take responsibility for any goods lost or damaged on their way back to us.

Returns Policy (Worldwide & Europe) Online only

For returns of your online purchase, just drop us a line within 14 calendar days of receiving your goodies. You can shoot us an email at dresses@cargoclothing.com or give us a ring at 01326 376486. We'll then hook you up with an authorization number to include with your return.

Remember to send the goods back to us within 14 calendar days from the date of receiving your authorisation code, and if possible, in their original packaging with all the labels intact. Unfortunately, if labels have been removed we won't be able to accept the return.

Regrettably, we can't offer exchanges outside the UK as it would be best to simply re-order another size or style. If you're returning for a refund, we'll give the goods a once-over and then process the refund for the cost of the goods only – the postage cost out to you and the return postage are on you. You'll be responsible for all charges related to returning non-faulty items.

Making a Purchase in-store

Shopping at our physical store offers a unique experience where you can try on items before making a purchase. Due to this advantage, we don't provide a returns policy or refund for in-store buys, including pre-orders and deposits for dresses, whether they've been tried on or not.

It's important to note that we can't facilitate exchanges for prom dresses after purchase, as this helps us prevent other customers from missing out on these sought-after items. We appreciate your understanding of our in-store policy and are here to assist you throughout your shopping experience.
