To make a return/exchange WITH REGARDS TO ALL EVENINGWEAR, customers services must be notified within 48 hours of receipt whereupon an authorisation number will be given. All other items also require an authorisation number but we do not need to be notified within 48 hours. All returns must be post-marked and sent to CARGO within 7 days of receipt. If the item is post-marked past the 7 days allowed or does not have the authorised returns number, it will be refused and sent back to the customer.
All items being returned must be in their original condition with all tags in place and posted at the customers expense. Furthermore, garments that have any deodorant stains or odours will not be accepted. Upon inspection and approval, we will issue a prompt refund. NOTICE: Any special orders, made to measure dresses, cannot be returned.
If you are exchanging an item for another size or style, we must receive and inspect before we can make the exchange. We will post out an exchange free of charge.
Please write your authorisation number on both the outside of the box and on a copy of the invoice. Returns will not be accepted without an authorisation number on the outside of the box. All exchanges being returned are based on the item being returned in its original condition.

Health regulations stipulate that clothing that is soiled, worn, damaged or laundered is considered to be in "other than new condition" and cannot be returned or exchanged. For the protection of our employees we will not handle any garments that are not in original condition.
You can reuse the box in which you received your order as long as any old postage or address labels are covered or crossed out.
Postage and handling charges are non-refundable. We recommend that you send your return via an insured carrier. We are not responsible for lost returns. Customers are responsible for all postage costs for returned items.
FAULTY ITEM
We ask that you inspect all garments on receipt and if to be found faulty please contact us at dresses@cargoclothing.com quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return. You have 30 days from receipt of the faulty item to return it to us.
DAMAGED SHIPMENT
For your protection, please do not sign for merchandise until you inspect the packaging for damage. Cargo makes every effort to prevent postal damage, however, please keep the original carton and take the following steps if there appears to be any such damage: 1) Promptly contact the Postal Office or carrier for a Damage Inspection report; 2) Request that the postal office/carrier return the merchandise to the address listed on the package. PLEASE DO NOT RETURN THE MERCHANDISE YOURSELF, as this may delay our reorder or credit. Please call our Cargo shop in Truro and explain the situation.

Backordered merchandise includes items that are not currently in stock. In the event that your order can not be filled within 7 days we will put it on backorder status and notify you of the approximate delivery date via e-mail.
If you do not respond to our e-mail notification, we will consider your order to be valid and we will notify you upon our shipment of the backorder items via e-mail.

Any order that DOES NOT include an item of evening wear may be sent by recorded 1st class mail at £3.25 or next WORKING day at £4.95.
All evening wear dresses over £100 will be sent by Guaranteed Next WORKING Day Delivery* at £5.95. Please note that your order can take up to 24 hours to process, once this has been confirmed then your order will be delivered by 1 pm the next working day (Saturday delivery available for small extra charge). Please note all evening wear orders require a signature on receipt. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF WE RECEIVE ANY ORDER AFTER 4.00 P.M. WE CANNOT GAURANTEE NEXT DAY DELIVERY. WE DO NOT DELIVER ON SUNDAYS. IF WE RECEIVE AN ORDER ON A SATURDAY THEN YOU WOULD NOT RECEIVE UNTIL THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY.

*Next working day delivery is not available to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands and the following postcodes:
HS1-HS9, IV21-IV56, KA27, KW5-KW17, PA20-PA78, PH30-PH44, TR21-TR25, ZE1-ZE3.
All the above postcodes and areas will take up to 3 days to deliver and still require a signature on receipt.
Items ordered other than clothing, i.e. accessories, please contact regarding postage as items will vary dependig on weight.
Europe / International
Prices will vary depending on weight, delivery times and areas, please contact us for an accurate costing. As a guide Europe Signed for which includes Southern Ireland for goods under the value of £100 is £5.99. For items over £100 the charge is £12.00.
International rates will vary but again a rough guide is up to the value of £49.99 postage is £10, up to the value of £99.99 postage is £15 and over £100 the postage is £22.00. As weights of items vary we can quote when we receive enquiries. Certain items depending on weight will cost less or more, we will contact you to advise before posting.
