CHARLOTTE HOLMES CROWNED MISS ENGLAND 2012

Nervously fidgeting with hemlines and re-adjusting beehives, the sixty beauty-queen finalists of the Miss England 2012 competition waited impatiently.

Then finally former Britain’s Next Top Model contestant Charlotte Holmes from Devon was announced as the winner.

The 23-year-old Miss Devon shed tears of joy as she accepted her crown and held up her trophy on stage at the Athena in Leicester.

Dressed in a sparkly blue gown with a thigh-high split she managed to dry her eyes before being joined on stage by runner-up Anastasia Smith, Miss North Yorkshire, and third place Tamzin Cummings, Sunderland People’s Choice. All contestants wearing an amazing array of gowns by Sherri Hill, Pia Michi and Jovania.

The lovely Charlotte Holmes came through this year and what a joy to see her win! We love Charlotte and are so very happy from the bottom of our hearts that her dream has finally come true, she is truley a lovely, bright and geniune person and after meeting her family know where this comes from! We at Cargo are so proud to sponsor Charlotte for the year by supplying her 10 wonderful gowns/dresses for her to wear throughout the coming year on her travels around the world as an Ambassader for England…..Go Charlotte! we love you xxx

Fake Bake put on a massive ‘Save your skin’ event to raise awareness of Skin cancer and sun safety at the Raddion Hotel in Galsgow for a star studded ball, attended by the likes of Peter Andre, Katie Piper, the cast of TOWIE and Josie Gibson (Big Brother winner). Cargo Clothing were honoured to dress Josie for the charity event and we must say she looked stunning and certainly stood out from the crowd in her Sherri Hill Jersey gown.
